Robert J. Hobaugh, Jr. concentrates his practice in structured finance and assists water and sewer authorities on a wide range of issues, including financing, governance and facilities expansion. He has documented transactions in excess of $1 billion in the capital markets. Bob has represented municipal entities in projects such as water sources, filtration, waste water treatment plants and systems of distribution and supply, including funding from PENNVEST and from the USDA Rural Utility Service and grants from the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

He frequently publishes articles on economic development and has presented many continuing education seminars and taught courses for the American Institute of Banking and other professional groups.

Bob serves on the Board of Directors for the Burn Prevention Foundation and the Kutztown Rotary Charitable Foundation, Inc. He is a founding member of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the Greater Reading Keystone Innovation Zone.

He received a J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law, an M.A. from the University of Virginia and a B.A., cum laude, from the Pennsylvania State University. Bob is a member of the Berks County Bar Association, Lehigh County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association, the University of Virginia Alumni Association, the Pennsylvania State University Alumni Association and the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Association.
